Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer / Informix Administrator to support a financial institution in Prague. The organization recently merged its core system with a sister company's infrastructure, integrating a client management system (Cybis) based on Informix technology. While Informix is an older technology, it remains a critical and robust solution, and the institution has chosen to modernize rather than replace it.

This is not a standard administrator role – we need an expert who can manage, optimize, and automate Informix operations within a modern AWS cloud environment.

Location: Prague (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in-office)

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Informix-based Cybis system at an expert level.
• Automate cloud processes and system operations using AWS.
• Ensure system stability, security, and performance.
• Work closely with development, testing, and architecture teams.
• Contribute to system enhancements and modernization efforts.
  
  
  

Our Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informix (Must-have).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Must-have).
• Strong background in DevOps practices and automation.
• Experience in development, testing, or architecture is a plus.
• Based in Prague, with availability for 2-3 days per week in-office.
