IT Operations Competency Center has over 500 specialists, and our projects include over 400,000 users in 3200 different locations. The team supports clients in four main areas: Service Desk, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and ServiceNow, realizing various projects for Polish and international clients. Currently we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for implement Kafka software configuration with on-premise infrastructure.

Your tasks

• Implementing and maintaining GitOps practices
• Setting up a Git repository to manage the platform's configuration files
• Integrating Kubernetes clusters with storage
• Configuring the platform, including CRD file, Confluent Operator settings, and Kubernetes configuration files
• Writing Ansible deployment scripts to automate the deployment process
• Creating development, UAT, and production environments
• Integrating Kafka with AppDynamics and Splunk
• Configuring Kafka clusters
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience working with tools and systems like Kafka, Nexus, Ansible, AppDynamics, Splunk, and HashiCorp Vault
• Commercial experience in working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting skills – Bash/Python/PowerShell on a good level
• Advanced English, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate directly with clients and other team members
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
