Job Description This is a remote position. Level: Mid/Senior Help scale FL3XX globally with an international Business Aviation SaaS team in Vienna and 10 other locations. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with the overall responsibility to build and maintain the FL3XX server infrastructure and automate service deployments. You'll also develop tools and strategies for deployment, testing, and monitoring to achieve our goal of security compliance, 100% up-time, and quick turnaround of new code deployments for the engineering organization. What your focus will be: Maintain smooth and reliable software delivery Constantly improve IT infrastructure of dev, test, stage and production environment Monitor and manage 24x7 availability of dev, test, stage and production environments What you'll do: Month 0 to Month 3 Study the infrastructure elements and establish access to all aspects of the system. Study and make minor changes in the central configuration management system implemented in Salt. Learn a set of periodic checks and maintenance activities and update the documentation. Extend and improve dev and test pipelines in Jenkins. Month 4 to Month 6 Participate in implementing more complex infrastructure changes according to the roadmap. Demonstrated solid understanding of existing infrastructure and ability to troubleshoot and fix upcoming issues. Extend and improve stage and production pipelines in Jenkins. Month 7 Onward: Make sure that production system availability complies with the SLA Improve and extend monitoring and alerting systems Create automation of the routine DevOps tasks Refactor old configs and maintain existing configurations Conduct periodic checks and maintenance activities.
