We're hiring a DevOps Engineer who will take ownership of building and optimizing the systems and infrastructure that keep Radix fast, scalable, and secure. Your Impact As a DevOps Engineer, you'll design, implement, and refine the CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and monitoring systems that power Radix's SaaS products. You'll partner closely with engineering teams to create a seamless, reliable infrastructure that supports rapid development while ensuring uptime, security, and performance. Your work will be critical to scaling our platform as we grow and innovate within the multifamily tech space. Key Outcomes Robust CI/CD Pipelines - Build and maintain pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and secure deployments across all environments. Highly Available Infrastructure - Design cloud architecture (AWS) that ensures high uptime, fault tolerance, and scalability as traffic and data needs grow. Improved Observability - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks that proactively surface system issues and optimize system performance. Security and Compliance - Strengthen infrastructure security and ensure environments meet industry best practices and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimize scalable, reliable infrastructure in AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.) Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) to automate application builds, testing, and deployments Implement best practices in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Partner with software engineering teams to streamline the development workflow and ensure production readiness Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) Strengthen security postures through automation, IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management Conduct cost optimization initiatives to manage cloud spend effectively as Radix grows Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes for production outages or disruptions What You Bring Experience 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role supporting cloud-based SaaS applications Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform strongly preferred) Proven experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) Skills Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages Deep understanding of system observability-monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting Proficient with cloud security best practices and threat modeling Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure Preferred AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or high-growth technology environment Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) Personal Attributes Curiosity - You constantly seek ways to make systems more resilient and efficient.
