Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the team!


The Role

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing automation practices to make the organisation more efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise data to prioritise initiatives and present the impacts after implementation
  • Ask questions and develop documentation of current practices and the future state of process flows, identifying opportunities for automation
  • Identify systems with APIs and opportunities for API-based automation. Collaborate with vendors and distributors to provide feedback on improvements.
  • Implement a workflow engine with system integrations and train staff on its capabilities
  • Identify, implement, and document native integration opportunities
  • Create technical documentation of processes for the team and communicate improvements and changes.
  • Maintain and enhance current systems whilst promoting cross-team automation collaboration on automation initiatives


The Successful Candidate

  • MSP experience is a definite advantage
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in PowerShell, Python, and JSON, with experience managing repositories in GitHub
  • Experience working with systems that offer APIs, and the ability to identify and leverage API-based automation opportunities
  • Strong background in workflow automation, including implementation and integration of workflow engines
  • Skilled in documenting technical processes and system integrations
  • Familiarity with native integration tools and platforms
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with vendors, distributors, and cross-functional teams to provide feedback and drive improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability and maintain constructive and effective relationships with peers
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
