DevOps Engineer
Location: Weybridge
Hybrid: 2 / 3 days a week in the office
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus
I’ve partnered with a small software house experiencing exciting growth. As part of that, they are looking for a Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to help support and shape their growing infrastructure.
Working as part of a small team, supporting a technically focused company, this role will span from supporting DevOps practices to helping with higher-level day-to-day support.
As the DevOps Engineer, what will be your main objectives?
- Offer general support to the broader business
- Contribute towards the ongoing support of their CI/CD pipelines
- To evolve your DevOps-based skillset in line with the business needs
As the DevOps Engineer, you'll need the following:
- Proven background in supporting both desktop and server environments across Windows and Linux systems.
- Competent in scripting, particularly using Python; any working knowledge of C++, C, Bash, PowerShell or Java is welcome.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with experience in deploying and managing cloud resources.
- Practical experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiar with containerisation technologies and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes; hands-on experience with at least one platform is a plus.
