We are looking for our client, a respected IT & Consulting Company focused on IT, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting, to hire a skilled DevOps Engineer.
The team operates under Agile methodologies, boasting a unique model adapted from Spotify. As part of the team, you'll work on projects involving internet banking applications, internal processes, and business needs, aiming to become a thought leader in Reactive Architectures and Functional programming on an international scale.
What You Would Do & Responsibilities:
- Manage operational environments supporting application development and deployment.
- Implement automated build and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and internal private cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy application functionality in various environments (Test, Acceptance, Production).
- Perform OS patching and maintain Windows systems.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Maintain SLA, system availability, capacity management, and performance KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and ensure system functionality.
- Contribute to documentation and procedures for the supported areas.
- Automate and optimize processes to prevent errors and improve efficiency.
- Provide assistance and mentorship to new team members.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and/or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and using custom scripts for automation.
- Understanding of key DevOps responsibilities and concepts.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Build and Release strategies.
- Knowledge of load balancing, reverse proxies, distributed caches, and cluster technologies.
- Experience with VM-related issues such as creation, migration, performance monitoring, resizing, and connectivity.
- Ability to provide system analysis and improvement recommendations.
Soft Skills:
