We are seeking a passionate and experienced DevOps Engineer to build and enhance our cloud infrastructure for our disruptive healthcare product. Role & Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer at Azodha, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure efficient and reliable system operations while maintaining high security and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:

● Design, implement, and manage a highly scalable, secure AWS infrastructure ( EC2, ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, AWS CloudWatch etc).

● Build and maintain networking infrastructure (VPCs, subnets, security groups, ALBs, NAT gateways) ensuring secure and optimized connectivity.

● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, maintain infrastructure versioning, and follow GitOps workflows.

● Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls to enforce security best practices.

● Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and recovery for fault-tolerant deployments.

Observability & Monitoring:

● Ensure end-to-end observability using OpenTelemetry.

● Develop proactive alerting mechanisms for system health monitoring and rapid incident response.

● Build logging pipelines with Fluent Bit, Loki, and the ELK Stack for centralized log management.

Security & Compliance:

● Ensure HIPAA-compliant infrastructure by implementing encryption, audit logging, and security policies.

● Enforce zero-trust security and secure access management.

● Integrate automated security scanning (AWS Inspector, Trivy, Snyk etc) to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

● Configure firewalls, WAF, API Gateway security, and IAM policies for access control.

CI/CD & Deployment Automation:

● Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions,.

● Automate containerized deployments with Docker ( ECS Fargate and EKS ).

Performance, Cost Optimization & Reliability:

● Optimize cloud costs, Tune database and caching performance for high-scale workloads (PostgreSQL).

● Design high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies, including backups, failover, and incident response plans.

● Work with developers to improve application scalability, reliability, and cloud-native architecture.

Documentation & Collaboration:

● Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

● Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.

● Foster a DevOps culture by collaborating with development and security teams to streamline processes.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field

● 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering

● Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, ECS Fargate, VPC, IAM, and S3

● Advanced networking knowledge including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing

● Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps workflows

● Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting

● Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration

● Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, particularly OpenTelemetry

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

● Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud infrastructure

● Familiarity with log aggregation and analysis

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

● Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

● Experience with healthcare infrastructure and HIPAA compliance

● Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale

● Experience with infrastructure performance tuning and optimization

● Knowledge of database administration (particularly PostgreSQL)

● Experience with infrastructure security scanning and compliance tools

● Background in high-availability and disaster recovery architectures

● Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

● Contributions to open-source infrastructure or DevOps tools
