DevOps Engineer - Platform (Paris)

I am partnering with a leading global investment firm to find a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, where you’ll work on designing and optimizing scalable infrastructure that powers advanced research and trading systems.

About the Role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and improving the firm’s cloud-based infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers, quant researchers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient system deployments, data flow, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless automated deployment and testing.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on EKS for container orchestration.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting both real-time and batch data processing.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and optimization through proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with global teams to improve system integration and automation across offices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience in DevOps and automation, particularly in cloud and containerized environments.
• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and EKS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Flux CD, or similar tools.
• Experience in data pipeline management using tools like Airflow, Kafka, or AWS StepFunction.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
