The Job:

• Continuous Integration and Deployment:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
• Ensure the smooth integration of code changes across development, testing, and production environments
• Infrastructure Automation:
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure components
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application and system performance
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce security best practices in all aspects of infrastructure and deployment processes
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and challenges
• Problem Resolution:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application performance
• Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule
• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides
  
  

Requirements

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platform and possess experience working on AWS Services/Linux based infrastructure, as well as experience in provisioning and managing containerized environments such as ECS, EKS
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar, are a plus
