Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Infra Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. In this role, you will:
- Work on automated solutions that enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Bring DoT experience to the table, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our AI-driven platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment and testing.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of AI/ML applications.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system reliability.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security best practices across cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and establish robust incident response strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Experience with Department of Transportation (DoT) systems.
- Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD).
- Strong grasp of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive proactive improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST compliance.
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKS), or Terraform.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $180K–$200K (final offer based on skills, experience, and role alignment).
