Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Infra Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. In this role, you will:

• Work on automated solutions that enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Bring DoT experience to the table, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our AI-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment and testing.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of AI/ML applications.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system reliability.
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure security best practices across cloud infrastructure and application deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and establish robust incident response strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Experience with Department of Transportation (DoT) systems.
• Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD).
• Strong grasp of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive proactive improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience optimizing infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST compliance.
• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKS), or Terraform.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $180K–$200K (final offer based on skills, experience, and role alignment).
