Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps to contribute to the development of our core back-end systems that drive automated optimization of our customer applications. You will contribute to building high-scale micro-service architectures that will completely automate observability, testing, and tuning of modern software stacks through the use of AI.

The ideal candidate has working experience in building and operating applications by leveraging automation tools and cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD pipeline, and AWS services. Strong knowledge of architectural elements such as Api Gateways, Load Balancers, and Identity Providers is also expected.

As a DevOps, you will work closely with other team members to review the impact of architectural decisions and implementations on deployment and operations and automate development, testing, and production environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a DevOps, you are expected to have an impact on our product evolution through individual contributions by:

• Reviewing and suggesting architectural and implementation decisions to help simplify and automate software operations
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to test, deploy, and operate development, testing, and production environments
• Actively participate in design sessions and code reviews
• Participating in support activities providing guidance and bugfixes
• Contributing to scrum events such as standups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospective
• Effectively collaborating with the team, sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices
• Coaching junior members of the team to share knowledge and expertise

Job Requirements

The candidate must have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps, software developer or similar roles
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD, automation tools, and testing frameworks
• Proficiency in writing Python scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripts (e.g. ansible, terraform, helm charts..)
• Knowledge of containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Knowledge of performance engineering principles, machine learning, and the following technologies is also considered a plus:

• AWS Cloud services
• Ansible
• Helm
