We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Capula's technology team in London.

Overall purpose of the job:

• Help deliver our next-gen cloud-native platform built on AWS and Kubernetes by leveraging your DevOps expertise to support multiple software development teams migrating to it
  
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
• Provide support to developers (i.e. by helping them migrate to Kubernetes)
• Handle installation and upgrades of key DevOps tools and systems
• Maintain robust DEV and UAT environments to support the software development life cycle
• Research and implement new technologies within the DevOps space to improve the effectiveness of our development teams
  
  
  

Requirements


Education and Qualifications

• Candidates will ideally hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field
  
  
  

Experience

• Proven track record of managing DevOps processes to support multiple development teams
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc
• Solid experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc
• Any experience working with cloud service providers, such as AWS, is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable
  
  
  

Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Deep knowledge of Docker
• Competence in managing both Linux and Windows servers
• Proficiency in Python scripting is considered an asset
