Iskraemeco by Kaynes Technology is looking for DevOps Engineer for Kolkata office.

Job Description:

1. Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure for different projects.

2. Cloud VMs resource finalization in line with HES & MDM Application requirements.

3. Deployment and maintenance of Linux servers and Linux based applications.

4. Install and configure application software.

5. Monitor end to end HES activity.

6. Manage & monitor MDM related activities.

7. Day to day management of database and data integration to other application.

8. Install and configure Database and writing SQL queries

9. Troubleshooting of computer Network related activity.

10. Basic understanding of Servers Operating System, and Network Packet Tracing with any Open-Source Tool.

11. Experience with smart meter protocols like DLMS/COSEM, IEC 61850, or Modbus.

12. Proficiency in integration technologies such as SOAP/REST APIs, Web Services, and message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

13. Understanding smart metering project requirements: This may include reviewing RFP documents and preparing inception reports.

14. Troubleshoot device related issues, end to end, including backend application & systems.

15. Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise service bus (ESB) solutions.

Qualification and Skills (Good to have):

1. Bachelor's (CS/IT/Electrical)/MCA or any related field. No Diploma.

2. 4-5 years of experience in managing and supporting HES or similar systems within a smart metering or utility environment would be an added advantage.

3. Strong expertise in HES platforms, smart metering technology, and AMI systems, good to have.

4. Good to Have Linux Operations skill

5. Sound with computer basics, like Excel, MS word and PowerPoint.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

8. Team-oriented mindset with leadership qualities.
