About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to build out and enhance Linq's technical infrastructure monitoring and telemetry systems. You'll implement and maintain critical infrastructure solutions, focusing on system reliability, performance analytics, hardware optimization, and networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure automation and monitoring solutions primarily using Python.
• Design and implement robust monitoring and telemetry solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Manage and optimize time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and maintain physical networking infrastructure, including setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and execute prompt resolutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance infrastructure observability and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Proven experience in infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.
• Solid understanding and experience managing time-series databases like InfluxDB or TimescaleDB.
• Hands-on hardware management and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with physical networking infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Ideal Candidates Would Have

• Relevant certifications or formal training in DevOps, networking, or related technologies.
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience managing hybrid (cloud/on-premises) infrastructure environments.
