Summary

As a DevOps Engineer at Conclusion Mission Critical, you manage and help build IT solutions for clients that have a major impact on society.

Just a heads-up, DevOps Engineer: at Conclusion Mission Critical, your role makes a real impact. Work that truly matters, like:

  • Ensuring stable and secure IT platforms so that software teams can focus on innovation;
  • Automating and optimizing monitoring & alerting to detect and resolve disruptions faster;
  • Supporting DevOps teams with the implementation of cloud and container solutions;
  • Evaluating and improving security & compliance to meet the highest standards;
  • Analyzing and solving incidents in collaboration with both operations and development.

How does that play out in your day-to-day work

You’ll work in a highly engineered IT environment where systems must be available 24/7. If something goes wrong—say, a monitoring failure at a wind farm—you’re the one who:

  • Quickly identifies the root cause: Is it a network issue, a faulty configuration, or a defective sensor?
  • Applies the right fix: Automated recovery via scripting or an infrastructure tweak?
  • Continuously improves: Can we prevent this issue next time with better monitoring or automation?

Your goal? Making systems smarter, faster, and more robust.

Your skills

  • Experience with monitoring and incident management in complex IT environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and experience with container technologies like Kubernetes or OpenShift;
  • Skilled in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, and using automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet;
  • Affinity with security and compliance, including audits, vulnerability management, and implementing robust monitoring/observability solutions as part of a DevSecOps approach;
  • Willingness to dive deeper into the technology stack of Conclusion Mission Critical and the specific challenges within the energy domain.

What we offer

In this role, you’ll receive a contract for at least 32 hours per week. Because we trust you to excel as a DevOps Engineer, we also offer (based on a full-time contract):

  • A salary that matches your skills and experience;
  • A bonus scheme;
  • A permanent contract from day one;
  • A lease car, phone, and laptop;
  • A lease bike;
  • Plenty of opportunities to build knowledge through courses, training, and certifications;
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home;
  • A lot of fun extras: BBQ battles, CMC weekend, monthly drinks, and more!
  • Net expense allowances;
  • Sports compensation.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer relocation assistance for this position. Therefore, only candidates who already reside in the Netherlands will be considered.
