Our DevOps Engineers are technical professionals responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automations that integrate systems and services, streamlining ETL processes and enhancing data operations. The DevOps Engineer is a technical subject matter expert in automation, data integration, and reporting. The role works closely with internal clients, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure smooth coordination and integration of automated processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automation scripts and tools for integrating systems and services using PowerShell, MS SQL Server, and the .NET Framework. • Design and maintain efficient ETL workflows for data processing, transformation, and warehousing. • Apply Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge to enhance automation performance and problem-solving. • Manage database operations, including querying, indexing, and storage optimization. • Build and maintain API integrations between internal and external services. • Support reporting needs by developing custom Power BI dashboards and reports. • Utilize version control systems like Git to track and manage code changes. • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and integration of processes. • Ensure adherence to security best practices across all automation processes.
Required Skills and Background Experience:
Automation and Scripting:
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate services and data transformation tasks. • Experience with MS SQL Server for database querying, management, and maintenance. • Familiarity with the .NET Framework for building applications and automation tools. • Hands-on experience with an Object-Oriented Programming Language (e.g., C#). • Exposure to API Integration and Git Version Control for seamless system integration and code management.
Data and Reporting:
- Knowledge of Data Modeling and Transformation Concepts for data warehouse environments. • Ability to create dashboards and reports using Power BI. • Proficiency with M365 Applications and Services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Access, Excel).
Theoretical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Networking Fundamentals and Security Best Practices to ensure secure and efficient system integration.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for optimizing processes and troubleshooting issues. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Professional experience, including internships, in DevOps, data management, or automation is a plus.
