DevOps engineer works closely with Research & Development, Testing, Quality Assurance and Production Department providing support for development and deployment tools, virtual environment, VCS system setup, configuration, monitoring, load testing etc. You will drive continuous process improvement and increase the efficiency and quality of our CI/CD framework. You will identify and implement creative ways to monitor and reduce Software Quality Assurance cycle times and accelerate adoption of Continuous Integration best practices.
Your tasks
- Setup/administration of server farm
- Setup/administration of network equipment’s
- Setup/administration of virtual machines
- Monitor system and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovation
- Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting
- Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures.
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similar education
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Very good knowledge on Linux OS administration
- Very good knowledge on TCP / IP networking concepts
- Master virtualization concepts (Virtual Machines, LXC containers)
- Knowledge on SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases
- Proficiency using versioning tools (Git, SVN)
- Good knowledge on monitoring technologies/tools (Cacti, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
- Love working with scripting languages (BASH, Python, etc.)
- Proven experience working with CI / CD concepts, methodologies and tools
