DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Microsoft Azure environments to ensure uptime and reliability
• Automate deployment and infrastructure using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
• Lead implementation of CI/CD pipelines and improve automation processes
• Collaborate with developers, operations engineers, security teams, and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or similar roles
• Proven experience with Azure: virtual networks, identity & access, DNS, monitoring, backup, security, and cost management
• Hands-on with Azure services like Monitor, Application Gateway, Entra ID, Key Vault, Storage, Defender, OpenAI
• Strong scripting/coding skills in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#
• Proficient with IaC tools: ARM, Bicep, Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
• Skilled in writing system documentation and working in Agile environments (e.g. Jira)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft architecture best practices, governance, and zero trust principles
• Passion for technology and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Broad experience across multi-cloud (AWS a plus), on-prem systems, networking, automation, and patch management
• Experience with Azure PaaS services like App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.
• Understanding of AI and tools like Azure OpenAI

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
