ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled DevOps Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will work closely with Backend Developers, Software Engineers, and Data Engineers to support and enhance our IoT and IT solutions across both cloud and on-premise infrastructures. You will play a key role in designing, automating, securing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as ensuring high system availability and performance across Azure and AWS environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, Software, Data Engineers) on IoT and IT solution development.
• Design and implement end-to-end architecture for microservices and CI/CD automation pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Terraform, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Deploy and support applications and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS for production environments.
• Develop automated procedures for backup, restore, disaster recovery, service scaling, and security hardening.
• Operate and support hybrid cloud, on-premise infrastructure, and IoT platforms.
• Monitor system performance and availability, troubleshoot incidents, and implement preventive solutions.
• Implement and maintain robust logging, alerting, and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Promote and enforce best practices in configuration management, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.
• Perform scripting tasks using languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash to automate workflows.
• Ensure compliance and security standards, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response planning, ensuring high uptime and service continuity.
• Research and recommend tools and practices to continuously improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
• Any other DevOps or development-related tasks assigned by the Client.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, AWS, and Terraform.
• Strong experience in CI/CD automation, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and system security.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Understanding of Git-based workflows and version control best practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and continuous improvement cycles.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in IoT or industrial platforms.
• Knowledge of on-premise integration and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Exposure to incident management and root cause analysis frameworks (e.g., RCA, Postmortems).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.
