TalentDome is partnering with an established, fast-growing software development company based in Austin, TX.

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to help scale infrastructure for millions of users while maintaining 99.99% uptime. Innovation is at the core of everything they do!

This is an urgent, full-time hybrid role, ideally starting in early June 2025.

The team works onsite 4 days/week, with 1 remote day — so only local Austin candidates who do not require sponsorship will be considered.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor dev, QA, staging, and production environments
• Collaborate with the global DevOps team to implement proactive monitoring, automated alerts, and streamlined communication tools
• Build scalable CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure (Terraform, Jenkins)
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices (AWS & Azure)
• Optimize system performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
• Work on containerization (Docker, ECS Fargate), cloud monitoring, and centralized logging

✅ You Bring

Experience: 4+ years as a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong infrastructure, automation, and cloud expertise

Core Technical Skills

• Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
• AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Azure (VMs, ACI, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps Pipelines)
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
• Monitoring (CloudWatch, Kibana) and centralized logging (Elasticsearch, CloudTrail)

Operational Knowledge

• Familiarity with IT best practices for high-availability, customer-facing environments
• Understanding of security practices (firewalls, DDoS protection, CIS benchmarks)

Systems & Performance

• Proven ability to improve system speed, scalability, and efficiency
• Experience with container orchestration (e.g., ECS Fargate)
