We are building the amenity APP store for buildings and we continue to scale rapidly across Spain, Portugal and the UK.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Developer with Backend experience to manage and evolve our 

critical infrastructure and systems. This involves maintaining a PHP/Typescript backend, managing basic data pipelines, and administering a distributed system environment. 

This role requires strong Linux system knowledge, especially with Debian operating systems, which are used on all our servers and systems. Additionally, we're looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues as they occur. 

Collaborate closely with our tech team to oversee the full development cycle, refine 

backend features, participate in code reviews, and continuously deploy changes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• DevOps & Infrastructure Administration: Oversee Linux (Debian) environments, Docker containers, and the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins); enhance logging/alerting. 
• Distributed Systems & Remote Operations: Support remote management of smart lockers across Spain and UK. 
• Backend Development & Maintenance: Maintain and extend our PHP/Laravel business backend and Node.js/TypeScript services; 
• Database & Caching Management: Manage and optimize MariaDB databases, Memcached, Redis and the nginx webserver. 
• Collaboration & Agile Practices: Participate in agile/scrum practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• DevOps & Linux Administration: Linux (Debian), networking, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Distributed Systems & Remote Operations: Experience with distributed systems. 
• Backend Development: PHP, Laravel, Node.js, TypeScript. 
• Database & Caching: MariaDB, Memcached, Redis. 
• Additional Technical Skills: bash scripting, nginx, agile methodology. 
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, adaptability, communication. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Experience enhancing logging/alerting systems. 

- Familiarity with AWS is not required but will be a plus. 

- Experience with event driven architectures. 

- Appreciation of IA technologies. 

- Hand on experience with IoT protocols. 

- Some experience with basic data processing (SQL, Python) or machine learning.

- Comfortable working in multi-lingual environment (Spanish & English)
