Kaywan — DevOps Cloud Engineer in Stuttgart

»If the DevOps pipeline isn't right, nothing will run as it should. This is why we work along the entire Infinity Loop when building our setup: from planning and building, through testing and deploying, to monitoring. This way, developers can fully focus on their features.

As a service provider, we deal with a wide variety of technologies, depending on the customer and the project. One day I might be working in the Azure Cloud and the next with AWS. I really enjoy the variety this adds to my work.«

Your work environment

As an agile team of up to eight experts you are jointly responsible for the software. You deploy ready-made components in the cloud and communicate directly with users from a wide range of industries.

Anforderungen

You will …

_ create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for our applications and infrastructure

_ design the cloud architecture, select the appropriate cloud services and support their integration into the system

_ monitor microservice applications across multiple environments and optimize observability

_ collaborate closely with your colleagues in development, assisting them with the containerization of the application, adjusting CI/CD pipelines, and handling security findings

_ actively participate in knowledge transfer through our training platform "aka"

Skills

What you bring to the table

_ a structured and independent work approach

_ understanding of CI/CD concepts and solutions

_ good knowledge in at least one CI/CD platform (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab)

_ solid knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes

_ knowledge in at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure GPC) and familiarity with common cloud components (virtual networks, compute, managed databases, object storage)

_ practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools to provision automated virtual cloud infrastructure (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

_ familiarity with Observability/Monitoring concepts (Observability Pillars, SLIs, SLOs, Run-Books)

_ hands-on experience with Observability platforms (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus/Grafana Stack, Splunk)

_ advanced English skills as you will speak English with your colleagues

_ nice to have: knowledge of patterns for software stability, understanding of fundamental concepts for software security, German language skills
