ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES This "AWS/DevOps Architect" position is responsible for designs and implements DevOps practices within an organization. Below is the list of principal responsibilities: * Infrastructure automation: Designing and implementing tools and workflows to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) * Application management: Building platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure. * Team collaboration: Establishing efficient collaboration between development and operations teams. * Process automation: Automating processes * Continuous build environment: Establishing a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes. * Industry knowledge: Maintaining overall industry knowledge on the latest trends and technology. * Designing and developing in AWS environments * Implementing microservices architecture * Moving large databases from on-premises to cloud platforms * Using Docker and Kubernetes to visualize servers for development. * Collaborating with other AWS project teams to ensure the solution is implemented correctly. * Examining current systems and architecture * Recommending solutions for simpler systems QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Science Graduate (4 Years Degree) PREFERRED SKILLS * BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, scientific discipline (chemistry preferred) or related field plus at least 7+ years information systems experience as AWS/DevOps Architect. * Maintaining and troubleshooting Linux servers * Maintaining and troubleshooting Linux and AWS cloud instances * AWS architecture, design, and security * Cloud native development with Java, API, Spring Boot, Confluent Kafka Salary Range: $120,000-$135,000 a year TCS Employee Benefits Summary: Discretionary Annual Incentive.
