Key Responsibilities
- Verify impact to adjacent services/systems and Validate deployment and support model
- Qualify technical acceptance of all components
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels through a variety of mediums both verbally and written.
- Able to recommend global engineering standards as necessary.
- Be familiar with architecture patte s and product use case.
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors, on design as well as strategy and POC initiatives (familiarity with product evaluations essential).
- Good team player, with the ability to virtually manage and coordinate resources across multiple countries.
- Experience working within large global enterprise IT environments.
- Be able to work in a dynamic, global, 24 x 7 environment.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GITHub, Confluence, and Jira
- Demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure deliverables are met on time and to high levels of quality.
- Identify & manage architecture risks and contribute to mitigate the same.
- Understand the set objectives and work collaboratively with the team to achieve organizational goals.
- Understanding of automation tools including Ansible, Terraform..
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS
- Setup automation(s) to take out waste
- Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
- Develop Cloud based infrastructure platforms and deliver infrastructure, platform etc. “as a Service” by working with Business & other DevOps teams
- Determine the strategic direction and execute in each of the Technology areas under Enterprise Services responsibility
- Risk and Cost Management
- Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered services
- Business stakeholder management to define product roadmaps and market available capabilities
- Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades), and build automation interfaces between systems
