About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary DevOps - Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-native infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving our organization's digital transformation by ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and efficiency across our development and production environments. You will be responsible for defining and implementing best practices for infrastructure as code, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation, while mentoring and guiding a team of DevOps engineers. Responsibilities: Infrastructure Architecture & Design: Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and maintain infrastructure blueprints, standards, and documentation. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure performance and efficiency. Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures. DevOps & Automation: Establish and enforce best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Drive the adoption of automation across all aspects of infrastructure management, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security by implementing security best practices, access controls, and vulnerability management. Design and implement security monitoring and alerting systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR). Monitoring & Performance: Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog. Analyze infrastructure performance data to identify bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization. Establish and maintain service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers. Participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of DevOps excellence. Cost Optimization: Analyze cloud spending and implement cost optimization strategies. Design and implement resource tagging and cost allocation strategies. Utilize cloud provider cost management tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related roles. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong knowledge of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux, Windows). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Experience with cloud security best practices. Experience in leading and mentoring teams. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with serverless computing. Experience with database administration and management. Experience with large scale distributed systems. Experience with Agile methodologies.
