Job Title : DevOps Architect (Cloud Engineer, Software Development Engineer)

Job Summary: We are looking for a cloud architect who will help us build highly concurrent systems that improve customer experience. They will be responsible for app release and deployments , app performance including database , and identifying production issues , vulnerability and security of production environments and other compliance like GDPR and optimising cost of infra .

Key Responsibilities

â Our apps are deployed in google cloud, AWS and we are open to any cloud .So we use Cloud agnostic tools.

â Automated server monitoring setup & HA adherence and ensure 99.95 uptime across all services.

â Managing CI/CD pipeline.

â Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch , Kafka along with DBA. Ensure processes like missing indexes , archiving historical data are in place .

â Configure and manage clusters of open source data streaming technologies like kafka , spark

â Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

â Review and act on the Service requests, Infrastructure requests and Incidents logged by our Implementation teams and clients. dentifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues â Own anything related to the production environment . Make sure it is secure and monitor the company's cloud privacy and take initiative for anything to make it compliant with GDPR etc .

â Identifying top cloud architecture to meet company's need

â Manage cloud/IT budget .

â Collaborate with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems, also help to automate and streamline company's operations and processes.

â Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.

â Proactively participate with Product managers to include anything which will improve performance of the app .

Key Skills & Qualifications

â Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems.

â Proven work experience as cloud architect and similar role .

â 8+ years of experience in managing Linux based cloud microservices infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)

â Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL.

â Hands-on experience in docker , Kubernetes , Nginx, Apache .

â Hands on experience in build automation like maven , NPM ,Ant

â Able to setup and manage CI/CD pipelines

â Hands on experience in API gateways , rate limit , IP restrictions ,etc

â Good knowledge of various scripting languages for automation like powershell, bash scripting , python ,etc .

â Good knowledge of managing and integrating code quality tools .

â Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success

â Critical thinker and problem-solving skills .

â Excellence knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends .

â Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform debugging.

â Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring various metrics.

â Advanced knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.

â Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

â Experience in managing big data environments
