As our Senior DevOps and Cloud Research Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on technical leader who investigates emerging technologies, experiments with new approaches, and designs scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the security, reliability, and future growth of our applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll leverage your expertise in AWS, container orchestration, and automation to help us develop cutting-edge and resilient systems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Research industry enhancements and architect highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS).
• Experiment with and refi ne Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless and effi cient software delivery processes.
• Investigate and integrate security best practices (DevSecOps), vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into pipelines to stay ahead of emerging threats. Study latest developments and amendments to security processes.
• Collaborate on research-driven initiatives with the CTO and other Senior Engineers to build, optimize, and scale Django applications in a cloud environment.
• Contribute to strategic research with cross-functional teams, shaping both our technology roadmap and our long-term company vision.
• Mentor and guide developers through research fi ndings and best practices, fostering a curious and innovative team environment.
  
  
  

Our Tech Stack

• Programming Languages: Profi ciency in languages such as Python, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
• Web Frameworks: Experience with web frameworks like Django and Flask.
• Databases: Skilled in both relational and NoSQL database technologies (comparable to PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
• Containerization & Orchestration: Profi ciency in containerization and orchestration tools (akin to Docker and Kubernetes).

Our Ideal Requirements

• Advanced Degree: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fi elds, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles, preferably in AWS environments
• Hands-on experience building and scaling Django applications in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in cloud storage, content delivery networks, virtual server environments, web socket technology, and optimizing cloud-based resources for performance and security.
• Experience in code versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, work independently and in teams with excellent verbal and written communication.
