Participate in the development of world-class high-voltage power devices and analog/mixed signal process technologies in a fabless environment
Responsibilities
Design new test boards to characterize switching performance of GaN and other WBG power semiconductor devices
Hands-on static and dynamic characterization of power semiconductor devices and circuits
Analyze and present characterization data to understand the effect of process/design, and provide recommendations related to operation in high-performance power converter applications
Support key customer requirements with characterization data
Support wafer level device characterization and failure analysis, as needed
Requirements
MSEE is required.
Good understanding of various SMPS topologies
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing switch mode power supply using WBG power devices
Hands-on experience with GaN power device characterization, including Dynamic Rdson would be desirable
Good understanding of power semiconductor device physics
Strong communication and collaboration skills
