Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Development Quality Engineer.

• Please note: This role can be either on-site or hybrid.
  
  

What You Will Do

• Monitor and improve product quality during the design and development phases.
• Ensure Development Quality processes align with the Design Quality Plan and are executed effectively.
• Analyze early field performance of newly released products to identify quality trends and drive improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts and corrective actions tied to design or development issues.
• Confirm proper validation testing has been completed and documented before product release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and reduce warranty claims.

• An effective communicator who can clearly present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a quality or engineering role within a manufacturing or product development setting.
  
  

Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to field performance and root cause analysis.
• Confident working with senior leaders and influencing change through data.
• Skilled in presenting findings clearly across written, verbal, and visual formats.
• Proficient with standard business and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab).
