We are seeking an experienced and passionate Built-Form Development Manager to join our team and help bring this vision to life.


About the Role

As a Development Manager, you will lead the delivery of architecturally significant, community-minded urban projects from concept through to completion. You will be responsible for balancing design quality, social impact, and financial sustainability, ensuring each project aligns with H-U’s vision while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

From early feasibility and funding through to construction and completion, you will oversee every stage of the development lifecycle. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure that each project is viable, innovative, and grounded in a long-term commitment to place-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of built form developments, including feasibility, design development, approvals, procurement, construction, and handover
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, architects, builders, and stakeholders to uphold design integrity and project vision
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines, risks, and quality outcomes
  • Navigate planning and statutory processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Champion innovation, sustainability, and community value across all stages of development


About You

  • Proven experience managing complex built-form (medium-to-high density) developments through the full lifecycle
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, construction, architecture, engineering, or related field
  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and understanding of urban design principles
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Passionate about design-led development and creating meaningful urban places
