The team at Max Recruit have been exclusively engaged to partner with a prominent Melbourne-based property development organization who is looking for an up and coming Development Manager looking to grow their career as a true development professional.

Despite the current climate, this role takes a long-term view with the business set to deliver a number of major public interest and community-based projects backed by a strong and selective acquisition pipeline.
The Development Manager will be responsible for working on the delivery of scope in a timely and cost-effective manner. Management of stakeholders both internal and external including sales and marketing, local government authorities, consultants and contractors.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Property or a related field
• Minimum 3/5 years’ experience in the property industry, preferably land and public infrastructure development
• Understanding and some experience in running projects from end to end
• Financial and planning competency sufficient to create and interpret accurate feasibility models and deliver projects accordingly
• Ability to report and provide guidance to key stakeholders in a variety of forums
• Ability to plan projects with sufficient foresight to avoid delays and roadblocks whilst also meeting approved timelines and cost structures
