• Architectural vision: translate business goals into technical roadmaps, balancing new features with long‑term scalability and security.
• Squad leadership: allocate resources across agile teams, run sprint planning, and remove blockers to keep velocity high.
• Code excellence: oversee reviews, enforce standards, and champion test‑driven development, CI/CD, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Release confidence: coordinate branch management, automated pipelines, and gradual rollouts to ship on time with zero surprises.
• People growth: recruit top talent, run 1‑on‑1s and performance reviews, and foster continuous learning through mentoring and knowledge‑sharing.
• Cross‑functional alignment: partner with Product, UX, QA, and Infrastructure to prioritise backlogs, mitigate risks, and deliver customer‑focused outcomes.
• Visibility & metrics: maintain real‑time dashboards and executive briefings that translate complex engineering data into clear business insights.

• Proven record leading engineering teams to deliver cloud‑native, high‑traffic applications on schedule and within budget.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in modern stacks (e.g., Node/React, Java/Spring, or Python/Django) and infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
• Mastery of agile methodologies plus the judgment to blend in waterfall elements when needed.
