NOW HIRING A DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Our client is a leading Real Estate Development company specialising in hospitality and high-end residential projects across the UAE.

The Role:

The Development Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of project developments within the company, potentially handling multiple projects depending on their scale. This includes commercial and project management responsibilities, as well as coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project development from inception to completion, overseeing commercial and project management aspects, and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Contribute insights during project identification, evaluation, and business development stages as needed.
• Negotiate leases, and partnerships, and manage all legal aspects, including architecture and construction contracts.
• Identify and establish partnerships to align with strategic project priorities.
• Develop business cases for identified projects, in consultation with finance, legal, project services, and strategy teams.
• Monitor partner performance and establish metrics for tracking project and partner success.
• Oversee site logistics, documentation, cost control, and working capital management for effective project management.
• Coordinate induction of facility management services for newly developed assets prior to handover.
• Track project progress on schedule, budget, feasibility, and client approvals, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, financial appraisals, and market research to inform land acquisition, development strategies, and investment decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years total experience
• 2+ years UAE experience
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Development or Project management within real estate development.
• Background in real estate development for high-end residential, hospitality, and mixed-use properties, with expertise in both sales and leasing.
• Strong proficiency in managing business plans, financial oversight, and delivering projects from concept through completion.
