General Role Description

Research, develop, and deploy new product and system technologies

Role Accountabilities

-   Identify new technologies that have the potential to address the present, but unfilled, needs of our clients, or that create demand as a direct result of significant performance improvements that will provide a level of direct benefit to our clients sufficient to differentiate the Company from our competitors

-   Evaluate the feasibility, cost, and benefits of incorporating new technologies in the Company's automation and/or power converter products

-   Incorporate selected technologies into the Company's automation and/or power converter products in cooperation with Company, parent company, and third party development teams

-   Define modifications to existing tools, and features of new tools, that are necessary to support engineering and commissioning of products that incorporate selected technologies

-   Perform engineering design, development planning, and project execution in coordination with parent company

-   Provide technical consulting, coaching, and training to group company engineering and commissioning team members to transfer knowledge of Company process and product solutions and ensure successful project execution, as assigned

-   Provide technical support to the business unit sales team in the areas of technical presentations, and proposal review and advice, as assigned

Minimum Qualification

s

-   Bachelor of science degree in electrical  or mechanical engineering or equivalent via education and/or work experienc

e

-   2 years' related engineering experienc

e

-   Demonstrated knowledge of AC and/or DC machine control using solid state drive systems

.

-   Demonstrated knowledge of TMEIC products and system design concepts, and engineering tool

s

-   Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills

-   Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contact

s

-   Demonstrated successful interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skill

s

-   Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibilit

y

-   Proficiency in MS Offic

e

-   Availability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 25% of the time, often with limited notice

Preferred Qualification

s

-   Master of science or PhD in electrical or mechanical engineering or related fiel
