Your challenges

In this role, you will be employed at one of our offices in Budapest (Hungary), Opmeer (Netherlands), Warsaw (Poland) with regular travels to Germany, Hüllhorst (Germany) or Voerde (Germany) in combination with possibilities to work from home. You will join our VELUX Commercial IT & Digital team which consists of 25 skilled and driven colleagues based in Germany, Hungary and the Netherlands. As a team, we operate in a setting where help and feedback are offered as well as accepted, pragmatic solutions are sought, and initiative is encouraged.

Your primary tasks include:

Independent conception, planning, development, documentation and implementation of individual extensions of our Microsoft Dynamics business solutions

Development of routines for the automation and digitisation of processes

Implementation of feasibility studies, analysis and solution of problems in live operation - 2nd level support

Integration of software components and programmes from other providers

Troubleshooting, debugging, and updating existing software

Participation in the introduction and improvement of software development processes

If you are located in Budapest, Opmeer or Warsaw you can expect to travel to our office in Hüllhorst approx. once per month.

Your Qualifications

We expect that you have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable training within the flied of IT

Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central development and corresponding development tools (AL,C/AL & C/SIDE)

Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell and MS-SQL-Server is desirable

Knowledge of the extended Microsoft 365 stack or an interest in acquiring this knowledge is an advantage (C# development, Azure, Power Automate/Power Apps)

Strong communication skills and fun in contact with users

Good English and German skills, both spoken and written
