Job Summary The Developer, Business Applications specializes in understanding the intricate needs of the various clinical and operational departments in order to translate them into technical and software system specifications and solutions. This role is responsible for advanced proficiency in applications systems analysis, implementation, integration work, maintenance, custom development, and support for all assigned business applications. The Developer, Business Applications tackles moderately complex challenges, leads projects, supports junior analysts and applies experience in utilizing technology to improve organization performance. This role requires strong technical skills with various business applications including, but not limited to, the organization or client Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Population Health Management (PHM), productivity, and financial applications. This position works closely with both internal and external customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Assess and produce workflow designs and with minimal guidance, facilitates meetings on new process adoption * Provides detail system programming to arrive at current state and support the architecture of future state product roadmap * Takes personal ownership of issues, ensures a high degree of accuracy with all deliverables, demonstrates excellent service recovery, and communicates with customers in a consistent manner * Recommends, develops and presents training documentation to support education of system enhancements, fixes and new deployments * Display a thorough and creative approach to moderately complex problem diagnosis and troubleshooting * Participates in the functional testing and assists with user acceptance testing * Provides support to customers during system implementations, upgrades and day-to-day support issues * Conducts training and orientation for new and existing staff needing application support * Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues, communicates and presents results and solutions with Management * Develops operational reports in assigned systems * Work closely with internal clinical and operational departments to ensure system * Participates with system updates and business application configuration changes * Provides direction to junior analysts on proper protocols * Performs other assigned duties and special projects on an as needed basis Supervisory Responsibilities * No supervisory responsibilities. Critical Results * Delivers on initial projected deadlines >95% of the time * Closes assigned service issues according to established service levels by issue priority >95% of the time * Completes all issue resolution document within 48 hours Education & Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management and Information Systems, or related field of study preferred * Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree * At least 5+ years of experience in the technical field or healthcare field * Above average understanding and administration of Salesforce with at least 3+ years of experience. Education Requirements Education Level Discipline Required Undergraduate Degree Business Management, Information Technology Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies * Above average written and communication skills * Strong initiative skills * Thorough knowledge of process design that outlines current state of workflows to solve unusual as well as common work problems. * Must be detail-oriented, possess high-level organization, communication and inter-personal skills, organization skills * Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish preferred) Physical Requirements This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Work Conditions Must be able to perform essential functions such as typing, standing, sitting, stooping, and occasionally climbing Travel Requirements Amount of Expected Travel Details Yes 0-25% Work may involve some driving/traveling to assigned clinics. Tools & Equipment Used Computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.
