About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role

In this role, the DevOps Engineer will implement, administer and design the automation strategies of the Support Systems Engineering team for Citco Fund Services. This incorporates a product suite which supports Citco’s monitoring strategy, operational automation and transparency, and self-service strategies. The Support Systems Engineering group has a mandate to drive automation and best-practice operating strategies in the Technology Operations Division

This role partners with application owners, development and QA leads, applications support and infrastructure teams to ensure applications are operated in our production environment in a highly reliable and cost-effective manner. Solutions will include modern DevOps platforms such as Ansible, Octopus eploy, XLDeploy and PowerShell.

• Administer and maintain Citco’s CIAD systems
• Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for DevOps systems
• Contribution to automated build process
• Systems documentation and knowledge base management
• Administration of enterprise Artefact repository and build systems.
  
  

About You

The successful candidate is an energetic and effective team contributor with a passion for DevOps, new technologies and automation. Must have familiarity with best practices in automation management, and confidence in designing and developing modern DevOps solutions.

Required Experience And Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in on-premises Windows environments
• DevOps Cloud experience in AWS or Azure
• Expertise in creating Continuous Integration/Automated Deployment pipelines for applications
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python and other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, BitBucket and SonarQube
• Familiarity with Cloudformation, TerraForm or AzureDevops
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerisation and container registries.
  
  

Education

• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
• Certification and training in one or more technology stacks
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and trainin
  
  

Beneficial skills and expertise

• Cloud application architecture, Azure and AWS infrastructure.
• DevOps implementation experience
• Experience with DevOps platforms such as Ansible, Octopus, XLDeploy
• Experience in a financial services company
