Desktop/SCCM Architect

Special notes: Hybrid 3 days a week onsite in downtown Chicago IL.

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will design, architect and oversee desktop operating system and maintaining workstation hardware as well as desktop and server software standards across all corporate client machines. Provide technical and strategic leadership for the planning, design, and transition of the end device and server environment directing patch management and upgrades to ensure security compliance.

Required skills:

• Bachelor degree with 5+ years’ experience with laptops, desktops, server, hardware, and software required.
• 5+ years’ experience with SCCM/Configuration Manager and other Microsoft Systems (Office, DirectAccess, Bitlocker, Windows Server)
• 3+ years’ experience with VMWare Virtualization technologies
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM/MAM) – Experience with EMS, Intune, O365 are a plus.
• Experience designing and architectural experience implementing SCCM/Configuration Manager (and/or other desktop management suites)
• Must be comfortable working on multiple projects.
