Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist.
Summary:
We're seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide frontline IT support across our manufacturing and office environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a smaller company setting and is comfortable wearing multiple hats-from troubleshooting hardware/software issues to assisting with basic network support or system administration. Responsibilities:
* Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices (Windows environment)
* Troubleshoot basic network, connectivity, and application issues
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.)
* Support ERP and manufacturing software users (e.g., Syteline or similar)
* Document and track issues using help desk ticketing systems
* Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees and IT asset setup
* Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software purchases or repairs
* Pitch in on broader IT or operational projects as needed* 3-5 years of IT support or help desk experience
* Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
* Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
* Manufacturing or ERP support experience a plus
