Desktop Support Specialist needed for a large global company. This is a contract to possible hire opportunity based out of Detroit, MI (Onsite).
Qualifications:
* Requires 3+ years of desktop support experience. (Must have to apply)
* Sound knowledge of imaging tools (SCCM, MDT).
* Sound knowledge of data backup and recovery tools.
* Installing, upgrading, and migrating to Windows 7/10/11.
* Deploying Windows OS in large enterprise environments.
* Able to configure hardware and applications.
* Basic network connectivity troubleshooting and setup.
* Configuring backup and recovery options.
* Ability to document and work with a ticketing system (IE ServiceNow).
* Must live in the local area (no relocation).
Certification:
* A+ Certification is a huge plus not required.
Responsibilities:
* Provide onsite support to users with operational and technical support.
* Able to provide white glove treatment and develop relationships with team and executives.
* Resolve incidents and problems associated with end-user equipment.
* Support users connecting or attempting to connect to the corporate network and assist in the coordination and completion of accessing LAN, print, and file service.
* Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices.
* Install, upgrade, and repair equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals).
* Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non-warranty assets for end users.
* Provide network printers and scanner network connectivity, including providing network support for device configuration, IP address, and direct TCP/IP output.
* Configure and support end-users on mobile computing platforms.
* Deskside support services as required.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $22/hour to $24/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
