DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST 6-month contract-to-hire!

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician. This is a contract-to-hire role is based in Dallas, TX, requiring onsite work Monday through Friday. The company offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits upon conversion.

In this role, you will provide enterprise-level support for a Windows/Microsoft environment, assisting employees with troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and audiovisual equipment. Responsibilities include provisioning access, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring seamless end-user experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and capable of handling multiple technical tasks in a professional setting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

• Enterprise support for Windows/Microsoft environment, including direct interaction with end users
• Performs first and second level support for the computing environment, including desktop, peripherals, network, wireless, networked devices, and IP telephones
• Provisions physical access for employees and designated contractors
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and maintains computer systems and related hardware
• Makes recommendations for improving our desktop and audio-visual environments
• Performs first and second level support for our audio-visual environment, ensuring that rooms and equipment are maintained and functioning properly
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintain high level of customer service through professionalism, timeliness, organizational skills and follow-through
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds while installing computer equipment
• Keep track of hardware inventory/organize asset disposal

Qualifications:

• 5+ years recent experience supporting MS Windows in an enterprise environment
• Detail oriented, organized and capable of multi-tasking
• Four (4) year college degree with information technology concentration preferred
• Hardware focused
