Summary

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Desktop Support Intern working with our End User Computing Support Services Team at HealthPartners. ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Performs hardware and software configuration and installation services * Performs hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, point of sale devices, iPads, iPods, etc. * Participates in End User Computing and facility projects as needed * Uses the ServiceNow ticketing system to update tickets with status and resolution information * Maintains computer asset records with accuracy * Follows all required policies and procedures REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * High school diploma/GED * Valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation * Must be able to lift at least 20lbs * Background check required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Current student or recent graduate in a secondary education program or certification program focusing on information technology * Desktop support experience is a plus OTHER DETAILS: * 40 hours per week * Hours will vary between 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday * May be requested to work alternate shifts in support of projects * May be requested to travel to other sites as needed At HealthPartners we believe in the power of good - good deeds and good people working together.
