Summary

Desktop support Engineer : KONVERGE TECHNOLOGIES

Location 3 M India Pvt Ltd - Ranjangaon location (Pune).

Min- 2.5+ yrs of experience

Notice Period Immediate to 15 days.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems (primarily Windows).

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.

Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems related to desktops.

Install and configure standard desktop applications.

Perform system backups and recovery as needed.

Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software.

Follow established IT procedures and documentation standards.

Assist with IT-related projects and tasks as assigned.

Provide end-user training and guidance on basic desktop operations.

Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a desktop support role.

Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).

Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

A proactive and customer-oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Active Directory user and group management.

Familiarity with remote desktop support tools.
