A boutique multi-strat hedge fund are looking for a well-rounded Desktop Engineer to join their team.

This role offers a healthy mix of BAU support (supporting over 300 users, including the trading floor) and involvement in exciting project work. The firm has a strong technology focus and has made significant investments in infrastructure, meaning you’d be stepping into a mature, technically advanced environment.

Automation is a core priority for the team, and they’re always looking to implement it wherever opportunities arise. As such, this role offers a great chance to develop your PowerShell scripting skills. Work-life balance is a key part of the company culture — compared to many other hedge funds, the environment here is more relaxed.

Requirements:

• Ideally 2 to 6 years’ experience in IT support
• Recent experience in a trade floor environment supporting market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg)
• Windows 10/11 and Office 365 experience
• Active Directory
• Exposure to project work
• Worked within an ITIL environment
