The University currently pays the entire cost of coverage. * Medical, Dental and Prescription Drug Coverage: The cost of coverage is shared between employees and the University. Job Summary/Basic Function The Desktop and Configuration Management Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of desktop environments and configuration management systems within an enterprise leveraging the Microsoft product stack, including Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM). This role includes server administration responsibilities and requires a good understanding of Microsoft technologies to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient operation of IT services. Specific Responsibilities Required Relevant Education & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop and configuration management, including experience with Microsoft product stack and Intune for MDM. * Knowledge of server administration, including experience with Windows Server, virtualization technologies, and network services. * Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology solutions. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
