We are currently seeking a talented Deskside Support Engineer to join our team for a long-term project based in Beerse, Belgium. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with strong hands-on experience in end-user support and infrastructure services to contribute to a high-impact project.
Role Details
- Position: Deskside Support Engineer (AV Support & Hands and Feet Services)
- Location: Beerse, Belgium
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
- Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable)
- Languages Required: Dutch (B2–C1 proficiency) and English
- Work Eligibility: Valid full-time work permit for Belgium is mandatory
- Other Requirements: Must possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle
Key Responsibilities
- Provide deskside support to end users, including troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software issues.
- Deliver audio-visual (AV) support, including setup and management of meeting room technologies.
- Perform hands-and-feet tasks such as racking/stacking equipment and replacing hardware components.
- Serve as the on-site liaison for remote technical teams, executing instructions with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely resolution of service tickets.
- Travel to nearby locations as required to support operational needs (vehicle and valid driving license essential).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in deskside support, end-user services, or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware/software troubleshooting and AV systems.
- Proficiency in Dutch (B2–C1 level) and English for effective communication.
- Valid full-time work permit for Belgium.
- Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle for travel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.
