We are looking for detail-oriented and proactive Design Technician's to become part of our Urban Design team in our Cirencester Office. Our focus lies in producing high-precision components for sectors within Urban Planning and Design. Together, let's pioneer innovative solutions for intricate challenges.

Purpose of Role

To support the project team to deliver the very highest quality design work for the Pegasus Group through providing a variety of design/drafting activities, including the preparation of masterplans, house types, residential layouts and architectural illustrations. As a trainee AutoCAD and Vectorworks training will be provided on the job, however prior knowledge of CAD software is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interest in the use of Vectorworks/CAD software and knowledge of the principals behind non-computerised drafting techniques
• Ability to complete tasks received from Urban Designers and Architects, to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications, and to develop such concepts into compelling graphics
• Adobe Suite, Sketch Up and Vectorworks is advantageous.
• To attend user group meetings and other formal or informal training sessions.
• Good English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well in large teams with staff members of all backgrounds and skill levels
• Previous experience working in a construction environment would be an advantage

• Good verbal, graphic and written communication skills.
• An interest in working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Able to use a variety of media in the design development and documentation of a design project.
• Able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times.
• Flexible attitude.
