Job Title: Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, particularly with SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, and sheet metal assemblies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to develop innovative solutions and ensure the highest quality standards. Responsibilities * Design and develop 3D models from existing 2D drawings using SolidWorks. * Create designs in AutoCAD 2D. * Generate detailed bills of materials. * Conduct structural analysis, including analysis of tipping points. * Work with sheet metal, including welding joint design. * Design and develop complex sheet metal assemblies. * Collaborate across various departments to ensure high-quality standards. Essential Skills * Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D. * Strong understanding of engineering principles and structural analysis. * Experience in generating bills of materials. * Ability to design and develop complex sheet metal assemblies. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Knowledge of industry standards and best practices. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
