Designer I Contractor Job Description We are seeking multiple Designer I Contractors for our Bridgeton, MO facility. The Designer I will play a pivotal role in the design services team by creating and updating routine mechanical and electrical designs for existing product parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and systems configurations using CAD systems. Responsibilities * Create and update routine mechanical and electrical designs using CAD systems. * Work on existing product parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and systems configurations. * Utilize CREO 9.0 or above for design tasks. * Collaborate effectively within the design services team. Essential Skills * Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, CREO, Unigraphics. * Ability to read and understand commercial and military mechanical drawings. * Experience using Microsoft Office tools. * Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $33.17/hr.
